AI Dance Pro vs Lite: Which Model Should You Use?
Compare AI Dance Pro and Lite by reference length, credit cost, audio and workflow, with practical examples before you generate.

The generator now offers AI Dance Pro and AI Dance Lite. Both use a character image and a reference dance video. This guide replaces the previous model comparison; the old model names and settings no longer describe the current interface.
The differences that matter
| Feature | AI Dance Pro | AI Dance Lite |
|---|---|---|
| Reference length | 3–15 seconds | 5–15 seconds |
| Credit cost | 10 credits per started second | 35 credits per video |
| 5-second example | 50 credits | 35 credits |
| 10-second example | 100 credits | 35 credits |
| 15-second example | 150 credits | 35 credits |
| Reference sound | Configured to keep the reference video's original sound | Do not assume the same audio behavior; preview the result |
These rates apply to supported templates and uploaded references alike. Longer uploads use the first 15 seconds. Reference length is an input requirement, not a guarantee of the exact delivered duration.
When to try Pro
Pro is the default selection in the generator. It accepts shorter references, starting at three seconds, and is configured to retain reference sound. Use it when those requirements match your clip.
The price rounds the processed reference length up to the next whole second: a 10.2-second reference costs 110 credits. Trim out an unwanted introduction or ending before uploading if you do not need that movement.
The name “Pro” does not guarantee a better result for every person, animal or dance. Source quality and the match between the subject and movement still matter.
When to try Lite
Lite offers a fixed 35-credit price for an accepted 5–15 second reference. It is the lower-credit option over that shared duration range, which can be useful when testing different photos.
Choose the model before selecting a template: template availability depends on whether its motion is ready for that model. You can also upload your own reference.
What neither model promises
There is no editable prompt, resolution selector or transparent-background switch in the current generator. Both workflows use an image and a motion reference; do not choose a model expecting the old article's extra controls.
A clear source image helps the model retain the subject's appearance, but the face, clothes and background can change. Neither option guarantees an identical background, perfectly synchronized limbs, or a frame-for-frame copy of the dance.
Start with the photo checklist and a short, steady reference. Review the complete result before sharing it.
Check your balance before generating
The advertised 10 welcome credits alone do not cover a render at these rates: the minimum Pro reference costs 30 credits and Lite costs 35 credits. Check your actual balance and the displayed charge; you may need to buy a credit pack.
A task marked as a technical failure returns its charged credits. A completed video that does not look the way you hoped is not automatically a technical failure. If a task is still processing, check its status instead of submitting the same job again.
